Wheelchair accessible Renault Kangoo and Renault Trafic
Renault has been operating in the wheelchair accessible vehicles market for a number of years. Working with specialist converter partners, they provide a variety of great models of cars that can be easily adapted to accommodate disabled passengers. Here at Mobility Nationwide we typically stock two models of Renault vehicles: the Kangoo and Trafic.

The Kangoo is Renault’s most popular model of wheelchair accessible vehicle, with its base allowing for easy conversion to accommodate a wheelchair. This model is fitted with a ramp for quick and easy access into the vehicle, and typically holds 3 seats. This is the smaller of the two Renault models, and comes with 1.2 or 1.6 sized petrol engines, or a 1.5 diesel engine.

The Trafic is Renault’s larger model of mobility vehicle, and like the Kangoo can be easily converted to accommodate disabled passengers. The large nature of this model creates more space inside to hold a capacity of around 5 seats, in addition to more than one wheelchair. Engine size is typically a 2.0 diesel, and the Trafic also supports the use of either a ramp or a lift, making access even easier.
As one of the largest suppliers of wheelchair accessible vehicles in the country, we will usually have several examples of all of the most common wheelchair adapted vehicles in stock, offering a range of styles and prices for you to choose from.
